Indian travellers benefited from price slump in hotel rates in major cities of the world

According to the latest Hotel Price Index (HPI) from Hotels.com, Indian travellers benefited from the tariff slash in various destinations while booking a four-star and five-star hotel room in 2015. The report reveals Istanbul witnessed the highest fall in hotel room prices. For a five-star accommodation Indians paid INR 10,702 per night while travelling to Istanbul which was 17% less than what they paid in 2014.  Similarly, Indians paid INR 7,028 per night for a four-star accommodation which was 23% less than what they paid in 2014, reveals the report.
