Indian Hotels has reported a widening of its standalone net loss after tax at Rs 9 crore for the quarter ended June against the loss of Rs 5 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Net sales during the period increased by 6 per cent at Rs 474 crore. EBITDA improved by 11 per cent at Rs 70 crore over the corresponding quarter. In view of the seasonality of the sector, the financial results for the quarter are not indicative of the full year’s expected performance, the company said in a statement.
